Davidson Jewelers to launch diamond delivery service

Davidson has signed a deal with jewelers Signet to launch its Diamond Delivery service on January 1.

The company will offer customers a monthly membership of $1.95 and a $20 gift card to use at a participating jeweler.

“This is a great opportunity to bring our brand to more customers and we are excited to be a part of this important and growing segment,” said Stephen M. Bailman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Davidson.

“We will continue to focus on the most valued products, our employees and our customers, as we build a great relationship with our jewelers and the customers who choose to use our service.”

The jewelers’ partnership with Davidson comes just two weeks after the company signed a licensing agreement with a major retail giant.

Davidson will also offer an online shopping service to help customers find diamonds.

According to a release, Davidson’s Diamond Delivery will be available from January 1 and will deliver the diamonds directly to customers at an undisclosed location.

Davidson currently operates a network of 6,000 jewelers across the United States, including some of the nation’s most well-known names in jewelry and watchmaking, including Louis Vuitton, Rolex, Tiffany, Gucci and Breguet.

While Davidson currently offers an online diamond service for $9.95, the company plans to roll out the service to all customers who use their Gold, Platinum and Diamond Platinum gift cards to use the Diamond Delivery platform.

As the leader in the jewelry industry, Davidsons diamond delivery is expected to provide customers with an efficient, affordable and convenient way to receive their diamonds in time for the holidays, which begin December 31.
